Day 1 of prepping for the Surf City 5K Race: a 20 minute run with Beans. Rough! I'm so out of shape.

It's 1:37am. Jet-lagged, I'm up jamming to BoyzIIMen's "Motown Philly." WTF. My first session of b-school Q2 is happening in a few hours, and I'm up doing whaaat?! And did I mention there's a Winter Marketing Conference taking place in the evening? Dress is "business formal". But formal business wear is never very comfy. If it were up to me, I'd wear... see above. Good night.

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Who's the fairest of them... Man, who am I kidding. I'm looking like a ball lately. And the short hair isn't helping. That said, I'm committing myself to a goal. I am going to run a 5K next month. With only three courses this quarter and a belly full of fire (I'm on a mission to self-improve), I think my odds to succeed are rather high. Will let everyone know how the training goes. Yes, I'm training to run a paltry 3 miles. One has to start *somewhere*...

School is Cool

Not really, but I'm going to have to convince myself that it is by tomorrow morning. Armed with lead and ink, I am capable of anything! Yet when armed with lead and a calculator, I am capable of nothing. I need to get over my fear of numbers.

One Day at a Time

New year, new slate. I'm starting the year fresh and "organazized" (wouldn't you rather be organazized than merely organized? I would!). Armed with new packs of highlighters and BICSs, I'm ready to tackle all that b-school has to offer this glorious second quarter. Was caught off-guard last quarter, but this quarter... no way, Jose.
