An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away
I eat at least one apple a day, but that still doesn't keep the doctors away. A couple months ago (during le cub and cougar honeymoon in Italy), I discovered a strange bump that'd grown on my left wrist. Being the resourceful gal that I am, I logged on to webMD and diagnosed myself while in Rome. Turns out I've grown myself a cyst (Dude, you're not welcome here!) and that cyst could either be harmful or harmless. Yowza. But my two MD cousins touched it with their fingers and declared it harmless - as did a third doctor pal. But all three also suggested that I go get an MRI "in the near future" just to be 100% certain that I don't have any funky tumor growth occurring in my lil' bod. So yeah. I'm going to the doc's tomorrow. Not looking forward to the experience. Will be thankful when it's over!

You'll be great my dear. Your photo is actually kind of how I feel because my diet has been all protein and veggies and then when I get to splurge on sugar or something I don't even enjoy it anymore! boo! But I love my veggies they are keeping my body strong.
Good luck with your MRI. These things have a way of working themselves out. Just make sure you get lots of love.
Thank goodness you're okay. I hear it's common but also hope your future MRI confirms you'll be okay :)
it wasn't so bad... the MRI. i see it as karma. i eat so many donuts and nuke so many things, it was about time that i got nuked by a donut-like contraption.
my friend is a doctor at ucla, and he read my scan. it's benign! which means all is well :) so no worries... didn't think there'd be any, but hey... better safe than sorry.
i drew a happy face on my cyst. it made it through the MRI :)
I love italy vacation packages!
