Beans likes to go to the park. We leave the house with one tennis ball, yet we return with two. Beans steals them from kids practicing their back swings against a wall near the park's tennis courts. Beans knows when to make the mad dash. The moment a tot loses control of his/her ball, it's over. I always return the slobber-covered balls, but the parents of the children usually tell me to keep them.
I think I know why Beans has been doing this. He's trying to make up for his pair of lost balls. (He's neutered.) My bad.
